TailorTrips is owned and operated by Silver Directive LLC. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data when you use this site. The short version: we don't ask you to sign up, we don't sell anything about you, and the trips you save never leave your own device.
What we don't collect
We have no accounts and no logins. We don't ask for your name, email address, or payment details, and we never sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Trips you save
When you save an itinerary, it's stored in your browser's local storage — on your own device. It is never transmitted to us and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently, and we hold no copy. If you share a trip link, the destinations and day counts are encoded in the link itself; anyone with that link can see those cities, so only share it with people you mean to.
Analytics
Analytics are not currently enabled on this site. If we turn them on, this policy will be updated to say exactly what is measured and by whom, before any data is collected.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some links on this site are affiliate links — if you book a stay, tour, car, or other product through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Following one of these links takes you to a third party (for example a hotel booking or tour platform), which will set its own cookies and apply its own privacy policy. We don't control those, and we'd encourage you to read them. Our affiliate disclosure explains how this funding works and why it never changes a recommendation.
Third parties
The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes. Maps are rendered using open mapping data. We embed no advertising networks and no social media trackers.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete. If you are in the EU, UK, or California and believe we hold information about you, you can contact us and we'll respond. You can clear your saved trips at any time from the My Trips page, or by clearing your browser's site data.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes to what we collect will be described here before they take effect.
