Build your Hong Kong itinerary

Choose how many days you have and we'll lay out a day-by-day plan built around the experiences and flavors you can only get here. Pick anywhere from one to five days below.

Trip length
A tailored 3-day plan for Hong Kong
Day 1

Harbour, Peak & the Dim Sum Trail

CENTRAL · THE PEAK · TSIM SHA TSUI
  1. ~8:30a
  2. ~10:00a
  3. 12:30p
  4. ~2:30p
  5. ~6:00p
  6. 8:00p

Do the Peak before noon — the haze thickens through the afternoon and the queues build fast. Lung King Heen overlooks the harbour, so request a window when you book.

Day 2

Markets, Temples & Mong Kok

KOWLOON · WONG TAI SIN · MONG KOK
  1. ~9:00a
  2. ~10:30a
  3. ~12:30p
  4. ~2:30p
  5. ~6:30p

Kowloon is the dense, neon, street-level Hong Kong — keep it all on foot and on the MTR. The night market only comes alive after dark, so save Temple Street for last.

Day 3

Outlying Islands & a Sampan Coast

LANTAU · BIG BUDDHA · TAI O
  1. ~9:00a
  2. ~10:30a
  3. ~12:30p
  4. ~2:30p
  5. ~7:30p

Lantau is a full day out — check the cable car runs that day (it closes for maintenance) and have the ferry as backup. Cloud cover sits on the Buddha by afternoon, so go up first thing.

The specialty of Hong Kong

Eat it here, then bring it home

Hong Kong is one of the world's great food cities — Cantonese cooking at its peak, dim sum tea houses, dai pai dong street woks, and nostalgic cha chaan teng diners.
