Trip length
A tailored 3-day plan for Jaipur
Day 1

The Pink City

CITY PALACE · HAWA MAHAL · JANTAR MANTAR
  1. ~8:30a
  2. 9:30a
  3. ~11:30a
  4. ~1:30p
  5. ~3:30p
  6. 8:00p

The old city's sights cluster within the pink walls — do them in a morning loop before the afternoon heat. Jaipur is a shopper's city; for gemstones, buy only from reputable, government-approved dealers.

Day 2

Amber Fort & the Hill Forts

AMBER · JAL MAHAL · NAHARGARH
  1. 8:00a
  2. ~10:30a
  3. ~12:30p
  4. ~2:30p
  5. 5:30p
  6. ~8:00p

Amber Fort is the day's centrepiece — go at opening to beat the heat and crowds (and skip the elephant rides; a jeep or the walk up is kinder). Nahargarh at sunset is the perfect close to a fort-filled day.

Day 3

Crafts, Cuisine & the Royal City

ANOKHI · BLOCK-PRINTING · ALBERT HALL
  1. ~9:30a
  2. ~12:00p
  3. ~1:30p
  4. ~3:30p
  5. ~7:00p

Jaipur is the craft heart of Rajasthan — a block-printing or jewellery workshop is the souvenir you'll keep. The folk-culture evening is touristy but genuinely joyful and a great last-night feast.

The specialty of Jaipur

Eat it here, then bring it home

Rajasthani cooking is desert cuisine — rich, fiery, and ingenious with preserved ingredients — and Jaipur adds royal Rajput dishes and a sweet tooth.
