Trip length
A tailored 3-day plan for Maldives
Day 1

Arrival & the Overwater Villa

SEAPLANE · THE LAGOON · SANDBANK SUNSET
  1. ~10:00a
  2. ~12:30p
  3. ~2:30p
  4. ~4:30p
  5. 8:00p

The seaplane only flies in daylight, so arrival timing matters — aim for a morning international landing in Malé. Pack reef-safe sunscreen (many resorts ban the rest) and little else; this is a barefoot week.

Day 2

Reefs & Marine Life

HOUSE REEF · MANTA POINT · DOLPHINS
  1. ~8:00a
  2. ~10:30a
  3. ~1:00p
  4. ~3:30p
  5. ~6:30p
  6. ~8:00p

The Maldives is one of the world's great snorkel-and-dive destinations — calm early water is clearest. Manta and whale-shark seasons shift by atoll and month, so plan the trip around them if they're the draw.

Day 3

Spa, Stars & Island Life

OVERWATER SPA · OBSERVATORY · LOCAL ISLAND
  1. ~9:00a
  2. ~11:30a
  3. ~1:00p
  4. ~3:30p
  5. ~8:30p
  6. ~7:30p

Build in a day to do almost nothing — the spa, the hammock, the stars are the point. A local-island visit adds welcome context; cover shoulders and knees ashore, as these are inhabited Muslim communities.
